Müngersdorfer formerly known as the Stadium is a stadium in Cologne. It is mainly used for football matches and is the largest stadium in the city. Opened in 1923 and hosted the 2006 FIFA several World Cup matches. 1. FC Cologne are the only tenants of the stadium. They were founded in 1948 and won the national football championship on several occasions.
