Abe Lenstra Stadion - Netherlands

The Abe Lenstra Stadion is a football stadium in northern Holland. It is located in Heerenveen and opened in 1994. The stadium has a capacity of 26,000, which is one of the major stadiums in the country. It is named after Dutch soccer hero, Abe Lenstra, who played for SC Heerenveen tenants. A statue of Abe Lenstra outside the stadium. SC Heerenveen, the only tenants, were founded in 1920. Ruud van Nistelrooy, who also played for PSV, Manchester United FC, Real Madrid CF and the national soccer team of the Netherlands, is one of their famous former players.
