Stade du 20 Août 1955 is a stadium in Algiers. It is used mostly for football matches and the national soccer team of Algeria played its first game at the stadium in the 1960s. CR Belouizdad are known as the tenants. It was founded in 1962 and won the highest national league football in Algeria in 2000 for the fifth time in its history.
