Sân Van Dong Lach Tray is a stadium used mostly for football matches in Hai Phong. Xi Mang Hai Phong, the most popular club sports in the city are the only tenants. They signed the world-famous Denilson de Oliveira in 2009. It became the world's most expensive player when Real Betis Balompié Spanish, bought from São Paulo FC. In 2002, Denilson won the FIFA World Cup with the national soccer team of Brazil.
